If the item you are purchasing is NOT FLAT RATE SHIPPING, help us, help you.

Choose the shipping option that best fits your receiving location.

We will pre-authorize your credit card for shipping charges based on the shipping option chosen during checkout. (Amounts are listed during Checkout)

If there is an error in the selection you made or our shipping company does not confirm your choice, we will correct the shipping and ask that you pay the difference before shipping your order. Please note that shipping companies are particular about what denotes a commercial location. Any time a loading dock is not available, additional charges will apply. This can be confusing, so we have put together the following information to help you make the best choice.

We will get you the best shipping quote possible!

Commercial Shipping

If you have access to a qualified Commercial Address, that is the most economical option.

Commercial Shipping is to a Commercial Business, staffed during business hours, with offload capabilities, or to the freight terminal (call for the nearest terminal location). A Residential Business, Farm, School, Church, Construction Site, etc. is not considered business delivery by the freight carriers.

We offer Commercial Shipping to the freight terminal or commercial business address with a loading dock with the ability to unload the item (e.g. – Forklift, Tractor with loader, etc.) from the Tractor Trailer Truck, for most items.

Customers, please be aware that shipping companies WILL NOT pay for any damages and/or missing parts incurred during shipment when that damage is not noted AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY with the delivery driver. It is your responsibility to check your order for damage and/or missing parts BEFORE you sign for your goods. Ground shipping and LTL truck shipping, boxed or wrapped, requires you to check for damage before signing for delivery.

On Cab Purchases, you are not responsible for concealed damage – we only ask that you inspect the container and ensure there is no visible damage.  We also require that you confirm all items are included – meaning if there are supposed to be 3 boxes, you received all 3. If there are missing components inside the boxes or cartons, contact us directly and we will get you any missing or damaged parts.

Farm (Must have your own Forklift) Shipping

What is considered a Farm Address?

We offer Farm Shipping to an address with the ability to unload the item (e.g. – Forklift, Tractor with loader, etc.) from the Tractor Trailer Truck, for most items. Unfortunately, a Farm is not considered a business to a freight carrier. There is a residential charge for them to go to a farm, church, school, construction site, or other limited delivery areas.

Residential – Curbside Shipping

Residential Delivery is available to your home (or other non-commercial location). Curbside Shipping means the freight company will deliver items to the curb or edge of your property.

Residential – On-Site Shipping

Residential Delivery is available to your home (or other non-commercial location). On-Site Shipping means the freight company will deliver to your chosen location on-site (Subject to Limitations).

*Other handling charges will apply if you require home delivery and need help unloading the items. Please note this in your customer comments when you are checking out so that we can inform you of additional charges. For your convenience, smaller items that we can ship with UPS Ground Shipping will ship to your door.

Additional Shipping Notes

Freight carriers do not offer free calls (prior delivery notification), although they may call ahead at times. Lift gate service is not included, but is available at extra cost.

Below are some examples of Remote locations that may require an additional charge:

Churches and Similar Type Locations
Schools, Colleges, and Universities
Medical/Urgent Care Locations without loading dock facilities
Prisons
Construction Sites
Storage Facilities
Golf Courses, Islands, and other very Remote Locations
Nuclear Power Plants
Government Facilities, Courts, Military Bases
Hotels, Motels, Resorts & Retirement/Nursing Facilities

Ask a friend with a Business Address

If you have a friend or relative that has a business address with a loading dock, this is a good way for you to have your attachments delivered if you do not have a business address. If you choose to have your items delivered to a friend’s business without a loading dock, please tell them to be prepared for this “curbside” delivery, as they would be responsible for unloading the item(s) and placing them into their facility. This normally takes a forklift, tractor w/ front end loader, etc.

UPS

UPS is used to ship items in smaller packages.

Return Policy

First and foremost, if you have any problem please call our Customer Service Department at 508-853-2000, extension 3054, for assistance.

We will gladly accept customer returns within 30 days, although we require you to obtain a return authorization before sending the item back. For returns, you will be required to pay the freight charges both ways, and we will inspect the item once returned with an authorized RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization). A 20% restocking fee applies to all returns. Additionally, we will deduct the cost of any items which arrive back damaged, whether due to return transit or otherwise.

If you received the wrong item in your order, we will pay for return shipping of the incorrect item back to our warehouse, and the shipping to replace the incorrect item(s) in the same manner as the original shipping, but you MUST ACCEPT DELIVERY FIRST! In the event you ordered the wrong item or have changed your mind, you will be responsible for shipping the item back to our warehouse where we will inspect your item, and refund your purchase price minus our original shipping cost and applicable restocking fee. Returns will not be accepted if you refuse delivery.

You Must Call Curtis directly and obtain an RMA in advance. If you do not call and get an advance RMA, your return will be delayed and your credit card will not be credited as quickly.

For Cab Purchases: Please note that Cabs are not intended to be installed, removed, and then returned. When you install a cab, you will put witness marks on the components as you fasten the hardware. So, if you plan to return a cab, it is best that you do so before you open the carton. Once you open the carton, it will be your responsibility to properly repack it for shipment. If you do partially install and then return a cab, we will deduct the value of any damaged pieces from your original payment, in addition to the restocking fee.
